Transforming a Farmhouse Landscape at DLF Chattarpur

Recently, we had the pleasure of transforming a client's farmhouse at DLF Chattarpur into a serene oasis, combining artistic elements with lush greenery to create a stunning outdoor environment.

A Decorative Courtyard with Artistic Bonsai


For this project, we designed an open decorative courtyard or open terrarium that serves as the  rear center piece of the landscape. The courtyard features a collection of carefully curated bonsai trees, each meticulously pruned and shaped to capture the essence of traditional Japanese artistry. These bonsai trees not only add an element of elegance and tranquillity but also create a sense of harmony within the space, offering a peaceful retreat for the client.

Highlighting the Canary Date Palm by the Poolside


In addition to the courtyard, we enhanced the landscape with the placement of a rare tree, the Phoenix canariensis, commonly known as the Canary Date Palm. Positioned along the edge of the swimming pool, this majestic palm adds a touch of tropical flair and provides a striking contrast to the minimalist design of the bonsai courtyard. Its tall, graceful fronds sway gently in the breeze, creating a calming atmosphere perfect for relaxation by the pool.

Our goal with this project was to create a landscape that seamlessly integrates with the farmhouse’s architecture while offering a variety of visual experiences. From the intricate details of the bonsai trees to the towering presence of the Canary Date Palm, each element was chosen to contribute to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space.
